Dogs Trust has launched a campaign to end the cruelty behind bad breeding. Greedy, unscrupulous breeders are capitalising on digital “shop front” windows. Websites, social media, classifieds and trade fairs are just a few such places. Bad breeders churn out puppies for profit with no consideration for the welfare of mums and pups.
Dogs Trust are taking a stand and you can help!
Sign the petition to ask the Irish government to change the laws and stop cruelty in Irish puppy farms. Ask Minister of State Sean Canney to review and strengthen the Dog Breeding Establishment Act 2010. This would see tougher enforcement and prosecution where breeders fail to comply.
You can tip the balance.
