Ingredients
- 1 can (drained) tuna or sardines
- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup gelatin powder
You will also need
- Food Blender Optional
- Cookie Cutter Optional (fish shapes for adorableness)
- Baking Paper
- Baking Tray
- Pot
Ready, Set, Get baking!
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees/Gas Mark 4
- Put the sweet potatoes into a pot and bring to a boil then let simmer for 20 – 25 minutes, or until fork-tender
- Mash the sweet potatoes then add the rest of the ingredients and use a fork or food blender to mix everything together
- Blend until you can make a dough ball (if needed, you can add extra coconut flour)
- Roll your dough roughly 3 mm thick
- Using a cookie cutter, cut out your biscuits and place on a sheet of baking paper in a baking tray
- Pop your biscuits in the oven and bake for 20 minutes (enjoy a sup of tae while you wait)
- Take your tasty treats out of the oven and leave to cool (use an air tight container for storing in the fridge or pop into the freezer for later use)
