Ladies it is that time of year again where the DSPCA are asking you to CRAWL, WALK OR RUN the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon in aid of the DSPCA. So please ask your friends and family to join Team DSPCA and say you will STAND UP FOR ANIMALS!

Why they NEED you:

Every year it costs over 3million euro to run the DSPCA shelter and 90% of this comes in through fundraising. Last year alone they helped over 5500 sick, injured or cruelly treated animals which included dogs, cats, equines, small animals, farm animals, reptiles and birds.

This year the DSPCA need to update and improve the Kennels they use for the sickest dogs that come into their care. These are also treatment kennels. The kennels are a bit dated, hard to clean and badly need to be upgraded. The money raised will go straight into upgrading these treatment kennels, where there is ever increasing pressure on the DSPCA’s facilities and with the upgrade they will be able to create 10 extra kennels. Last year over 1,500 dogs passed through these kennels and they need your help to help save more animals!
